Mindfulness: A Journey of Self-Awareness and Intentional Living

Mindfulness has been a non-linear journey for me,  helping to simplify my life and cultivate greater intentionality. It’s not about always being “love and light,” but about recognizing what truly guides me—whether it’s love, peace, or fear. This practice has helped me become more present and grateful, and I’m now compelled to share how it can transform your life too.

Mindfulness doesn’t promise constant calm or perfection. Instead, it offers a tool for self-awareness, helping us monitor and adjust our behavior and beliefs. This shift creates healthier relationships, as we become more attuned to ourselves and others. Mindfulness encourages us to reflect on what we consume—whether it’s media, food, or the people around us—all of which shape who we are. By being intentional with our choices, we align our decisions with our values, leading to better emotional energy and more meaningful connections.

Meditation has been particularly valuable in this process, deepening my self-reflection and acceptance of my thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations. It’s helped bring clarity and emotional balance, making it easier to navigate life’s challenges with a grounded perspective.

Through mindfulness, we learn that negative emotions are temporary, not permanent. This awareness allows us to detach from emotions, seeing them as transient ripples rather than fixed states. As we grow in mindfulness, we begin to understand that our sense of self is fluid, which makes it easier to respond to life’s ups and downs with wisdom and grace.

In today’s digital age, mindfulness also helps us recognize the false realities we create and reminds us to be proactive with our choices. The decisions we make today shape our future, and mindfulness provides the space to pause, reflect, and act thoughtfully. This practice fosters accountability and leads to a more fulfilling and responsible life.

Ultimately, mindfulness and intentional living are powerful tools for personal growth. By becoming aware of our thoughts, behaviors, and emotional energy, we can align our lives more closely with our values, creating a life that’s more fulfilling and connected to others.

Mindfulness also teaches us to honor others’ unique experiences and journeys. Understanding that each person’s perception is shaped by their path fosters empathy and deepens our connections.

Duality vs Oneness

In many mystical traditions, God is seen as the One Source of all that exists. From this perspective, nothing stands outside the Divine, not even the shadows we fear. Both light and dark, joy and pain, are contained within the infinite mystery of God. Yet in faith traditions like Christianity and Islam, the devil is understood differently, not as God, but as a creation of God. The devil becomes the symbol of separation , the willful turning away from unity, love, and truth.  Where God is perfection and pure goodness, evil arises not from the Source but from distorted will, pride, and rebellion against divine alignment. Beyond the Image of Horns and Fire, The devil is not a creature with horns, a fiery tail, and glowing yellow eyes. It is not merely an external monster lurking in shadows. Instead, it represents the energy of separation, the distortion of truth, the rejection of compassion , the misuse of divine gifts . The devil is rebellion against unity, whether it shows up in i...

Divine is Beyond Labels

Theres so much beauty in the universe. I honor the presence of God in everyone.   The diversity of this world doesn’t confuse me, it makes me fall deeper in love with God and with humanity. Our differences are not barriers. They are beautiful.   They are the artistry of a Divine Creator. The essence of God is not confined to one name, one tribe, one religion.   Race, nationality, belief systems, these are human constructs, not divine limitations. God is Spirit. Boundless. Pure.   Far beyond every box we try to fit the Divine into. We are born open, whole, deeply connected.   It’s fear, ego, and conditioning that teach us to separate and compare. To believe one soul is superior to another based on tribe or religion is not only untrue, it’s a distortion of truth.   A distortion of the Divine. If God wanted one tribe, one race, one religion…   Wouldn’t that have been easy? But diversity is the design.   Each of us, different yet divine.   Every ...

Returning to Alignment

Loving the Divine means loving all of the Divine’s creations. It is impossible to truly declare devotion while dishonoring the souls that walk this earth each on their own sacred journey. The Divine is woven through everything: in every person, every living being, every moment of grace. To love the Divine is also to love yourself. Self-love is not selfish; it is sacred. It means honoring your soul, living by your values, and aligning your life with who you truly are. This alignment is the bridge between your inner world and the Divine’s truth. My own path has been one of constant learning and unlearning of resetting myself from the inside out. Along this journey, so much has been illuminated that I can no longer ignore. I see now how often I gave my light away to those who did not honor it those whose values did not reflect mine. Those who prioritized their desires on this physical realm over my soul. I offered my spirit where there was only manipulation and deceit. I did all that in t...
