Guarded by Light, Guided by Love

There are days I feel the need to say this clearly. Not as a wall, but as a boundary made of clarity and love.

I can only be reached by those with love in their hearts. Because true love does not curse, control, spy, or wound through envy, gossip, or spiritual manipulation.

And even when we fall short, because we are human, those who live by love always return to it.

I am a reminder. Not of fear or control. But of my truth. Walking in my truth. A reminder not to idolize another person’s power, but to remember your own.

I am not for those who wish to take from me or others. But for those who sincerely seek to transform.

I hold love for everyone. But I will never be everyone’s cup of tea. And I no longer try to be.

Like my tea, I am a blend of lavender, chamomile, rose, mint, ginger, lemon, and honey.

Soothing. Sharp. Floral. Fiery. Sweet.

I align with those who choose to go within, like I do. Like minds drawn to unravel mysteries, ask questions, seek truth, explore the soul’s conversation with the universe.

Not those who try to dishonor me by dragging the light I work so hard to maintain into chaotic and manipulative spaces. Not those who want to dilute it, manipulate it, or misuse it.

There is nothing to take from me, except the invitation to remember yourself. So if your path is to steal, curse, confuse, or control-go play elsewhere.

I walk in the path of humanity. My love stretches far beyond labels, dogmas, or tribal lines. The Creator I know holds no label.

It is us humans who create names and paths for guidance.

But the Source has always been One.

So no, I will not be available for oppression, distortion, or spiritual manipulation.

I will not be mishandled. I will not dim. Dim for what? For who? And I will not offer my light to be consumed by those who are not willing to awaken their own.

I believe in the same Creator as Muhammad, Jesus, and Abraham. I ground myself in the same stillness that Buddha embodied. Like nature, I lean toward the same light that gives life to trees, flowers, animals, and humans.

I honor the sun, not as God, but as a breath of God that nourishes all creation.

I honor the rain, not for its storms, but for its power to cleanse and awaken.

I honor the sacred in all paths that seek truth, love, and meaning. Whether through prayer beads or silence. Through scripture or through song. Through sujood or stillness.

I honor those who worship in mosques, in churches, in forests, or alone under the open sky.

Because I do not seek the dominance of belief. I seek remembrance. Divine remembrance.

The kind that leads you back to the Source. Back to love. Back to compassion. Back to your soul.

That is my path. Rooted in love, remembrance, and truth. I will walk it in peace. And let others walk theirs too.

"To you be your religion, and to me mine.”

 Surah Al-Kafirun, 109:6

 Lakum deenukum wa liya deen

May we all go within, with honesty, with intention, with humility, and curiosity too!

When you decide to awaken yourself, may what is meant for you be revealed in perfect time, in perfect truth, and with perfect peace.

Love always,

Umi

Duality vs Oneness

In many mystical traditions, God is seen as the One Source of all that exists. From this perspective, nothing stands outside the Divine, not even the shadows we fear. Both light and dark, joy and pain, are contained within the infinite mystery of God. Yet in faith traditions like Christianity and Islam, the devil is understood differently, not as God, but as a creation of God. The devil becomes the symbol of separation , the willful turning away from unity, love, and truth.  Where God is perfection and pure goodness, evil arises not from the Source but from distorted will, pride, and rebellion against divine alignment. Beyond the Image of Horns and Fire, The devil is not a creature with horns, a fiery tail, and glowing yellow eyes. It is not merely an external monster lurking in shadows. Instead, it represents the energy of separation, the distortion of truth, the rejection of compassion , the misuse of divine gifts . The devil is rebellion against unity, whether it shows up in i...

Divine is Beyond Labels

Theres so much beauty in the universe. I honor the presence of God in everyone.   The diversity of this world doesn’t confuse me, it makes me fall deeper in love with God and with humanity. Our differences are not barriers. They are beautiful.   They are the artistry of a Divine Creator. The essence of God is not confined to one name, one tribe, one religion.   Race, nationality, belief systems, these are human constructs, not divine limitations. God is Spirit. Boundless. Pure.   Far beyond every box we try to fit the Divine into. We are born open, whole, deeply connected.   It’s fear, ego, and conditioning that teach us to separate and compare. To believe one soul is superior to another based on tribe or religion is not only untrue, it’s a distortion of truth.   A distortion of the Divine. If God wanted one tribe, one race, one religion…   Wouldn’t that have been easy? But diversity is the design.   Each of us, different yet divine.   Every ...

You Are Light: The Divine Energy Within You

For centuries, we’ve been conditioned to see God as something external, an all-powerful being separate from us, watching over the world from a distance. But what if that’s not the full picture? What if God isn’t “out there” but within us, woven into the very fabric of our being? The truth is, God is light . And that same light resides within you. The Science of Light and the Divine This isn’t just a spiritual concept,it’s a scientific fact. Light is the foundation of all existence. Everything in the universe, including you, is made up of energy , and at the core of this energy is light. From the cells in your body to the vast galaxies in space , everything is illuminated by this fundamental force. Modern science tells us that light is essential to life. The Sun provides the energy that sustains the Earth, plants convert sunlight into food through photosynthesis, and even human cells emit biophotons tiny flashes of light that regulate our biological functions. If we take this a step f...
