The Quiet Power of Patience

There is a quiet power in waiting.
Not the waiting that feels like punishment, but the kind that carries purpose.

A wisdom in stillness. A grace in trusting that life however unpredictable will unfold as it must.

We often live in a world that demands urgency. Quick results. Instant answers. Immediate gratification. But patience invites us into another

A rhythm that honors divine timing, that understands becoming is not a race but a sacred unfolding.

Patience is not about standing idle. It is about standing firm. In faith. In hope. In resilience.

It is holding your ground when the path ahead is unclear. It is choosing trust over panic, surrender over control. It is saying, “Even though I cannot yet see the way, I believe there is one.”

Patience is not weakness. It is strength. The kind of strength that doesn’t need to shout to be heard. The kind of strength that holds on quietly, consistently, lovingly.

Think of the caterpillar. It does not become a butterfly in a day. It enters the darkness of the cocoon, where everything it once was dissolves.

Its shape, its certainty, its identity. And still, it surrenders to the process. Because deep within, it knows: This transformation is necessary. And so it waits.

We, too, must learn to embrace the process of becoming.

When life tests us, when doors close without warning, when carefully laid plans unravel, when the road ahead disappears into uncertainty, Patience becomes our quiet companion.

It whispers truths we often forget: Delay is not denial. Redirection is not rejection.

Storms may rage, but they always pass. And after every drought, rain returns.

But there is another side to patience. One that is often overlooked. Patience is also a kindness we give ourselves.

Because on this journey, we will stumble. We will fall. We will get it wrong sometimes. We will feel like giving up. And still, we must choose grace.

To rise again. To try again. To believe again.

You are not required to be perfect. You are only asked to be present. To stay with yourself.

To be tender with your process. To extend to yourself the same compassion you so easily give to others. This, too, is patience.

It is saying: I am still learning. I am still growing. And that is more than enough.

So if you find yourself in a season of waiting. You are not behind. You are not forgotten.

You are not lost.

You are becoming. Quietly. Beautifully. Bravely.

And when the time is right You will emerge, Like the butterfly, Wings full of color, Purpose written into your every movement.

Because patience is not weakness. It is strength wrapped in softness. It is courage cloaked in calm. It is love deep and enduring. For the version of you that is still on the way.

Love,

Umi

Duality vs Oneness

In many mystical traditions, God is seen as the One Source of all that exists. From this perspective, nothing stands outside the Divine, not even the shadows we fear. Both light and dark, joy and pain, are contained within the infinite mystery of God. Yet in faith traditions like Christianity and Islam, the devil is understood differently, not as God, but as a creation of God. The devil becomes the symbol of separation , the willful turning away from unity, love, and truth.  Where God is perfection and pure goodness, evil arises not from the Source but from distorted will, pride, and rebellion against divine alignment. Beyond the Image of Horns and Fire, The devil is not a creature with horns, a fiery tail, and glowing yellow eyes. It is not merely an external monster lurking in shadows. Instead, it represents the energy of separation, the distortion of truth, the rejection of compassion , the misuse of divine gifts . The devil is rebellion against unity, whether it shows up in i...

Divine is Beyond Labels

Theres so much beauty in the universe. I honor the presence of God in everyone.   The diversity of this world doesn’t confuse me, it makes me fall deeper in love with God and with humanity. Our differences are not barriers. They are beautiful.   They are the artistry of a Divine Creator. The essence of God is not confined to one name, one tribe, one religion.   Race, nationality, belief systems, these are human constructs, not divine limitations. God is Spirit. Boundless. Pure.   Far beyond every box we try to fit the Divine into. We are born open, whole, deeply connected.   It’s fear, ego, and conditioning that teach us to separate and compare. To believe one soul is superior to another based on tribe or religion is not only untrue, it’s a distortion of truth.   A distortion of the Divine. If God wanted one tribe, one race, one religion…   Wouldn’t that have been easy? But diversity is the design.   Each of us, different yet divine.   Every ...

Versions

In a moment of profound self-reflection, honouring the different versions of myself that have shaped who I am today. Every choice I’ve made,  every decision that felt uncertain at the time, has contributed to the wisdom I carry now. I’ve journeyed through many phases of growth, each one adding depth and understanding to my identity.  In some ways, I’ve been many people in one lifetime and that’s something I'm proud of. Each version of me, whether it was a version of hope, doubt, strength, or transformation, has served a purpose. And now, looking back, I can see how each part of my story was necessary for the person I am becoming. I honour that and in doing so, I honor my capacity to evolve. It’s a reminder that I’m never stuck just always in the process of becoming, continuously shedding layers and uncovering new possibilities.  I stand as a testament to my own resilience and growth, fully embracing both my past and my future. While reflecting with gratitude ...
