To My Unborn Child

To My Future Child

I have loved you even before I knew I wanted you.

I have loved you enough to grow, to become, to prepare for your arrival.

I have loved you enough to wait for the right vessel to co-create you.

I love you enough to not just choose a spouse or partner for me, but a father for you.

And I know, with all of me, I will love you with my heart, my body, and my soul.

I am not perfect.

But I am always becoming, always learning, always transforming.

And you will too.

You will grow, evolve, make mistakes, and rise again.

You will transform, over and over, into deeper versions of yourself and I will be right beside you through it all.

I can’t wait to teach you about spirit, about God, about love.

To show you the world, cultures, tribes, and countries.

To give you experiences that shape your soul.

To teach you about self-worth, about boundaries, and values.

I can’t wait to show you that it is okay to make mistakes, to unlearn and relearn.

That it is okay to start over.

To walk away from spaces that drain you.

To rest, reset, and renew your path whenever your spirit calls for it.

I can’t wait to teach you how to be present.

To feel your breath, to trust your intuition, to sit with yourself and listen.

To know the power of stillness in a loud world.

To find peace in the now.

And to take up space.

I will teach you to never sell your soul,  not for money, not for status, not even for love.

Your spirit is sacred.

Your truth is enough.

And your worth cannot be traded, borrowed, or bought.

I want to teach you about soft eyes, the kind that see deeply, that hold compassion, that meet others with warmth and quiet power.

May your eyes always be kind, even when your words must be firm.

May your gaze carry mercy, but never lose discernment.

I can’t wait to learn new things with you.

Together, we will become all that God intends for us to be.

I can’t wait to show you what stable, respectful, loyal, kind, generous, and honest love looks like with your father.

To show you what a healthy partnership is,  rooted in purpose and peace.

I want to show you the beauty of humanity and its shadows too.

I want to teach you to hold your worth, to walk away from anything or anyone that chooses not to honor it.

My darling, you come from a very long line of independent, adventurous light seekers and light workers, people who carry love, faith, and truth in their bones.

I can’t wait to teach you the value of family.

To honor humanity.

To love and protect animals.

To respect the earth, the environment, and to honor the universe.

Divinity is in everything.

I can’t wait to speak life over you.

To protect you from the entitled, the drainers, the takers and to teach you how to protect yourself and your beautiful heart.

To be gentle, but strong.

Kind, but firm.

Loving, but never lost.

I will teach you to shine your light as bright as you were born to.

To bloom without shame.

To never dim yourself just to make others feel more comfortable.

I can’t wait to give you the world, not just in things, but in love, in grace, in wisdom, in peace.

My darling, you are everything.

You are chosen.

You are God’s very own.

You are the light of the world.

And I can’t wait for you to find out just how deeply God does not play about you.

You are blessed.

You are light.

You are called.

You are enough.

Your ancestors crowned you.

God will choose you over and over again.

I feel you already, dancing in the ethers.

And I promise, I will keep becoming better before you come, and I will keep rising while you are here.

I will protect you as I have been protected.

You are my breath, my life, and you come from me.

I am part of the root amongst those who came before you, and you are the fruit.

Flesh of my flesh, divine with purpose.

I am getting better for you.

I love you.

With all my heart,

Umi (Mother)

Duality vs Oneness

In many mystical traditions, God is seen as the One Source of all that exists. From this perspective, nothing stands outside the Divine, not even the shadows we fear. Both light and dark, joy and pain, are contained within the infinite mystery of God. Yet in faith traditions like Christianity and Islam, the devil is understood differently, not as God, but as a creation of God. The devil becomes the symbol of separation , the willful turning away from unity, love, and truth.  Where God is perfection and pure goodness, evil arises not from the Source but from distorted will, pride, and rebellion against divine alignment. Beyond the Image of Horns and Fire, The devil is not a creature with horns, a fiery tail, and glowing yellow eyes. It is not merely an external monster lurking in shadows. Instead, it represents the energy of separation, the distortion of truth, the rejection of compassion , the misuse of divine gifts . The devil is rebellion against unity, whether it shows up in i...

Divine is Beyond Labels

Theres so much beauty in the universe. I honor the presence of God in everyone.   The diversity of this world doesn’t confuse me, it makes me fall deeper in love with God and with humanity. Our differences are not barriers. They are beautiful.   They are the artistry of a Divine Creator. The essence of God is not confined to one name, one tribe, one religion.   Race, nationality, belief systems, these are human constructs, not divine limitations. God is Spirit. Boundless. Pure.   Far beyond every box we try to fit the Divine into. We are born open, whole, deeply connected.   It’s fear, ego, and conditioning that teach us to separate and compare. To believe one soul is superior to another based on tribe or religion is not only untrue, it’s a distortion of truth.   A distortion of the Divine. If God wanted one tribe, one race, one religion…   Wouldn’t that have been easy? But diversity is the design.   Each of us, different yet divine.   Every ...

Returning to Alignment

Loving the Divine means loving all of the Divine’s creations. It is impossible to truly declare devotion while dishonoring the souls that walk this earth each on their own sacred journey. The Divine is woven through everything: in every person, every living being, every moment of grace. To love the Divine is also to love yourself. Self-love is not selfish; it is sacred. It means honoring your soul, living by your values, and aligning your life with who you truly are. This alignment is the bridge between your inner world and the Divine’s truth. My own path has been one of constant learning and unlearning of resetting myself from the inside out. Along this journey, so much has been illuminated that I can no longer ignore. I see now how often I gave my light away to those who did not honor it those whose values did not reflect mine. Those who prioritized their desires on this physical realm over my soul. I offered my spirit where there was only manipulation and deceit. I did all that in t...
