Aztec Calender Aka The Sun Stone

[aztec+calendar+1.png]

I love all kinds of Aesthetics especially ancient arts. Sometimes i feel i should be in a destroyed city which existed thousands of years and has recently been found. Just digging up old beautiful crafted things..or mummies.lol
Aesthetics can be percieved in different ways to people. What i feel is beautiful might not be to you or intresting. Two years ago i would never have thought i was into art especially the so not called "modern" arts. I appreciate anything that people take time to make, Put thought, meaning, and importance to create.

Anyway I did a project on the Aztecs last semester and i was amazed. Because usually we only see "modern" paintings, carvings, figures, etc. And unfortunately some arts that are really facinating and intriguing are looked at as ugly or non modern.
The aztecs are precolumbian mesoamerican people of central mexico. Some say they dont exist anymore while some say there are few of them left. Whichever is true only fact is there are lots of Aztec arts found till this day from ruined ruines, and the remains of a city has actually been found too. Of all the crafts and carvings i have seen of the aztecs i loved the sun stone immediately i saw it because of not only the bright colors but also the little symbols and animals you will see if you look closely.

So the aztecs use this stone to measure days, months and years. There are so many animals and symbols on the stone that represent a lot of things. The aztecs actually see eagles, snakes and jaguars as the most important animals. Reason its called the sun stone is because if you look really closely at the stone there is a face in the middle. He is the sun god. He provides food and sunshine to the aztecs and according to the aztecs the world. They sacrifice slaves and prisoners on the stone and put the sacrifised persons heart on the face of the sun god. They believe if they dont feed and pray to the sun god he wont provide sunshine which is important in harvesting corn. Corn is a very important factor among the aztecs. They eat millet and make millet beer which comes from the corn.
I have to stop myself here because I can go on and on and this is not an essay..lol. Hope u enjoyed learning something new and if you will like to learn more about the aztecs and the aztec calender please visit
Enjoy!

Duality vs Oneness

In many mystical traditions, God is seen as the One Source of all that exists. From this perspective, nothing stands outside the Divine, not even the shadows we fear. Both light and dark, joy and pain, are contained within the infinite mystery of God. Yet in faith traditions like Christianity and Islam, the devil is understood differently, not as God, but as a creation of God. The devil becomes the symbol of separation , the willful turning away from unity, love, and truth.  Where God is perfection and pure goodness, evil arises not from the Source but from distorted will, pride, and rebellion against divine alignment. Beyond the Image of Horns and Fire, The devil is not a creature with horns, a fiery tail, and glowing yellow eyes. It is not merely an external monster lurking in shadows. Instead, it represents the energy of separation, the distortion of truth, the rejection of compassion , the misuse of divine gifts . The devil is rebellion against unity, whether it shows up in i...

Divine is Beyond Labels

Theres so much beauty in the universe. I honor the presence of God in everyone.   The diversity of this world doesn’t confuse me, it makes me fall deeper in love with God and with humanity. Our differences are not barriers. They are beautiful.   They are the artistry of a Divine Creator. The essence of God is not confined to one name, one tribe, one religion.   Race, nationality, belief systems, these are human constructs, not divine limitations. God is Spirit. Boundless. Pure.   Far beyond every box we try to fit the Divine into. We are born open, whole, deeply connected.   It’s fear, ego, and conditioning that teach us to separate and compare. To believe one soul is superior to another based on tribe or religion is not only untrue, it’s a distortion of truth.   A distortion of the Divine. If God wanted one tribe, one race, one religion…   Wouldn’t that have been easy? But diversity is the design.   Each of us, different yet divine.   Every ...

Returning to Alignment

Loving the Divine means loving all of the Divine’s creations. It is impossible to truly declare devotion while dishonoring the souls that walk this earth each on their own sacred journey. The Divine is woven through everything: in every person, every living being, every moment of grace. To love the Divine is also to love yourself. Self-love is not selfish; it is sacred. It means honoring your soul, living by your values, and aligning your life with who you truly are. This alignment is the bridge between your inner world and the Divine’s truth. My own path has been one of constant learning and unlearning of resetting myself from the inside out. Along this journey, so much has been illuminated that I can no longer ignore. I see now how often I gave my light away to those who did not honor it those whose values did not reflect mine. Those who prioritized their desires on this physical realm over my soul. I offered my spirit where there was only manipulation and deceit. I did all that in t...
